Day #159

Honestly, this is the top. Today it was sunny (so what?), we are seeing some pretty warm weather right now and I didn't to waste it, you know what I did? I climbed a tree, I wanted to see what I could see from the top but turns out, not alot, the tree was more interesting. Climbing down from the tree was less like Robin Hood style and more like Forrest Gump.

Happy international spay day (pets)! Oh have I just totally misjudged the mood of international spay day? I am always doing that. So tonight I found my camcorder that my Grandad gave me in the summer, when I work out how it works I will let you know. Also, you don't have to tell me how cool my pijamas are, I already know. Big brother is always watching you.

Will on a ramble. It was 15 degrees which means that spring is well on its way. My girlfriend and I went for a walk around her village and the first two she took (me being a yob and surfing a sign), the third I took.

The floating apple and the pocessed dog. Tonight I was taking photos and realised the first one looks like I have magic hands. The second is when my dog jumped up at me I took the photo at the right time.

Two photos where I get absolutely soaked once again. Today in my study period I re-designed the blog, I shuffled a few things round and changed the background, hope you like it. Today while finding something to take a picture of I came across this small truck, My brother and I each got one in 2002 so I thought what better way to preserve it for future generations than pushing it really fast into my sink. Enjoy.

Day #152

Its fun making your own filters for your camera, its less fun to be told that you are wrong and then burn yourself on your flash. Tonight I had my girlfriend and a couple of friends round so I didn't really get a chance to take any photos. When they left I decided to try something, to put different colour fabrics and pieces of paper in front of the pop up flash to give a different colour tint to the photo. This was working great until I took a photo and scorched a piece of blue paper. I then asked my dad why it had happened and he replied that the flash gets very hot when fired (Well durrr), being me I then decided to take a photo with the flash on my lip, I then burnt my lip.

Happy pancake day! Well pancake day has Crêped up on us once again. Question: What is the best thing to put ontop of a pancake? Answer: (Not another bad joke) Sugar and lemon of corse! Today's photo is my mum flipping a pancake which she made. (Is that enough recognition on my blog mum?)

You cannot be serious?!? Today I played tennis with my friend Arthur in folkestone. We found some courts and stayed there for the afternoon. He beat me three games to two so he must have cheated.

Today the house was left in my hands (No nothing terrible happened). I tried some HDR from the corner of my garden which is the second picture and the first is my old bridge camera with all it's four whole megapixels.

A crazy phycodelic journey through East Kent. Today I spent the day at my girlfriend's house. This picture was taken on the way back from hers. The blurring across the left is caused by aome speed signs which make this photo I think.

In a galaxy far, far away. Welcome to my childhood. So today I had alot of time on my hands, I spent it in the loft which I have never been in before, I found all my old toys such as corpsmen (The soldiers) and my star wars figures (I had friends as a child, honest). After I had finished I edited the blog's layout, then I didn't like it so I changed it back

Happy Valntine's day. Today I went to the cinema to see 'Puss in boots' with a friend, then we came back to my house where under their careful instructions, I made cupcakes without a recipe. I'm pretty proud because I now know how to make them which is quite nice.

The times they are a changin'. A quick one tonight. This is the bridge camera that I used from Day # 1 (The squirrel), right to Day #53 (My dog's head in a bowl). It's the Fujifilm, Finepix S5500 and wasn't a bad camera. but times have changed and this is now used to hold my TV arial up.

"Clap some more will, they might come out and do another song if we clap some more". Today I had a meal with my Grandparents for their ruby wedding anniversary so kudos to them. Then tnight I have been at a concert with my friend teddy. Just a quick photo today as I am ridiculously tired. This is the ticket and because they were so good, I bought a hat, much to teddy's amusement.

Fire is fun but water is better. I thought I had done everything I could with water, so I tried lighting a match and seeing what kind of pictures i could get with it. Today's picture is me flicking water at the camera. I'm off to my girlfriend's house tonight then London tomorrow so hopefully getting some decent pictures.

There is no impunity. So today it was 7PM, I had no photo and I was rooting around in various draws for something to take a photo of. I found some medals that my Grandad had given me a couple of years ago. They belonged to my great grandad who was a sniper in the Scots Guards (hence the title of today's post...The motto).

Day #138

Burning microwaves and red ukeleles. After watching Jake Shimabukuro play 'While my guitar gently weeps' on the ukelele (I will post the link below), and with my friends buying ukeleles, I thought it was time to bust my uke out. I haven't edited the picture and the circle was created using the slide for my guitar on the lens, which kind of works.

I am bored of the snow now. After two days off because of the snow and being bored at home, its time to go back. Just as I thought my plans could return to normal as soon as the snow clears, my mum's car has broken down, great. I hate to be a kill-joy but I'd quite like all this white stuff to disappear.

After a whole month of trying, I got it. This is what victory looks like...if it had been taken a photograph of without its permission. No photo editing, just patience...coupled with alot of frustration and anger taken out on a snowman I made.

Snow, snow, snow. Today I couldn't get to my girlfriend's house because there was too much ice on the roads. I spent the day chasing my dog round the garden and learning how to fly a plane on a PC game. I've just found out my school is shut tomorrow so I will catch up with you then.

Forty one days ago and this would have been a white christmas. I am not a hat wearer, but when it falls to -4 degrees, I will break the trend. The first picture was taken while waiting for my friend Arthur to finish badminton and the second is looking down a very long alley way.

I have a confession to make. Today's photo is of my mouse mat, it also reveals a secret of mine. I am a member of the airfix modellers club. I signed up when I was 11 and the models have stayed in my cupboard since then. I have thousands of tiny men in my cupboard. (Airfix men)

Day #131

When lost and deciding which way to go, you can always rely on the lonely glove on a wooden post. I walked just over a mile tonight in the freezing cold to find some sheep on a hill with the sunset in the background. I walked all the way to the sheep, they ran away and I was too cold to set up my tripod. This eerie glove was like this on a broken fence post pointing down the road. - Needless to say, it was cold and I was lost, my only option was to follow the glove. I wonder what happened to the owner...
