New years eve tonight! Forgive me, this is another quick one, I spent most of today with my new remote trying to capture pictures of birds but with no decent consequences (I will try again another day). So how's this, a pottery bird, nearly as old as I am.

Just a quick one today, this is a pciture taken from Folkestone harbour of the cars going past, if you look closely, across the road, there is a faded red bin and a luminous jacket, this was the man emptying the bins.

4 layers, gloves, scarf and a hat and I was still cold. This photo was taken at about 5 PM tonight, its of Ramsgate harbour and I think you will agree that its not a bad shot.

Today was meal day. The family and I went out for an Indian meal tonight (by "the family" I don't mean the Mafia). I think this T-shirt displays casual by being a T-shirt but smart because it has a bow tie on it.

Re-living the past. 6 years ago today, my mother, brother and I walked out along Dover pier. My mum told me that it was because she wanted to wear me out and lessen my excitement for Christmas, but I knew that the real reason was to wear me out so that I did not see Santa because I was asleep!

Three pcitures for today. The first is the most unlikely battle that I could put together at my friend Arthur's house. The second picture is a message for anyone walking on the street looking at the blog while smoking (nobody). The third picture is of one of the lights on a tree in Folkestone harbour after rain.

Bread. Yes, this picture is of a breadbin and a loaf of bread. I could have gone all creative with it-up close on the crust and letters....But no, I chose the simplest way of showing it. Enjoy! :D

A light in the darkness. Juat a quick one today. This is one of many lights running up the staircase at my house. So far, three have stopped working, lets hope they hold out until Christmas itself!

The abandoned train station was freaky, but the pier was equally scary. After asking at the cafe, we found a route onto the pier, we figured there would be some good photos to take. The steps were steep and nasty but the view from the top was totally worth it. The photo is one of the only B&W's that I've done, enjoy!

The Christmas decorations are now up! The tree is up and while listening to a Christmas greatest hits CD the decorations went up to, safe to say I am now in a Christmassy mood!

Two celebrities in one day. Today  I went to London, I saw James Corden in a play which was pretty good. I then went to Trafalgar square to see the Christmas tree which is donated every year to London by Oslo, it has been like that since 1947 (according to Wikipedia). On the train home I was sat in front of Ian Hislop from 'Have I got news for you' and collumnist of the private eye with his wife and son, his son is also called will.

The Domino effect... These Dominos haven't been out of my draw in about 3 years, I tried to get a picture of them falling over but I have no coordination whatsoever, you will have to settle for my failed attempt at a house of Dominos.

After recovering from being ill today, I tried something new. I put food colouring and water in a small glass and dropped this stone in and took some pictures of it.

When the storm came to Studdal. This is what the recent storms and heavy winds have done to one of our fence panels, apparently we are set to have even worse weather on Thursday so batten down the hatches!

09/12/11 - The battle of Will's room. Between the ages of 10 and 13, I collected tiny soldiers, I got a box of them every week until I found that I had too many and that even a whole day would not be enough time to set them all out. I took a trip down memory lane today and got them out, had a small war and then tidied up as if nothing had ever happened. The only real casualty was bad carpet burn on my elbows trying to take the above pictures.

So today (yes I really have reverted to the old openings for today) I was sitting in my lounge watching the TV and I wanted to try something, I lay on the floor and focused on the red ball above ^^, I waited for my dog to come in because I wanted to get a shot of him jumping on the toy. What I did not anticipate is how fast and how crazily he would come into the room. He got the ball but was going so fast that he collided into me and my camera, the photo today is of him right before he hit into me.

Today it was noticibly colder. I think I am ready for the snow, it dropped to freezing point and standing at the bus stop was not fun. This tap kind of sums up the mood.

London's calling! Today I traveled up to London to stay with my Uncle and the photos above are of a walk down to and along the river. The first is before we got to the fish market, there were some balloons tied up and the rest is history. The second is of inside the fish market; a very happening place. The third is whilst walking back, this road sign was reflected in a building's glass.

Happy first day of Advent! Today is the first day of advent, it is also national Aids awareness day. My photo today is of the symbol of Aids awareness (the red ribbon) next to the first pocket on my advent callender. (as you can see, I have already eaten the chocolate in it)

A day off because of the srikes? Yes please. I spent my day off playing American football with my friend Arthur in Folkestone. I then went to Canterbury to see 'Arthur Christmas' - I am now in a very Christmassy mood, bring on the first day of Advent.

Guitar hero - Because guitar wasn't enough for me. Tonight I played guitar hero for like the 10th time since I bought it at new years and I have got to say, I am getting pretty good at it now, I do not get boo'd off nearly as much as I used to and sometimes I can hit the right notes! I put the normal picture of the guitar hero colours onto my computer and changed the hue so it did this.

Only 300 more days to go! Today I took a walk to the nearby church to try out some HDR shots and it worked out quite nicely. I could not upload the shots however, because the files were too big. The photo today is of a berry or plant near the church.

My two pictures are of the lights turning on in Folkestone today, appologies for the bad level of quality, my ISO was going crazy :( The first picture is of a man selling glowing flashing things to kids. The second is of the lights being turned on themselves, they look swirly because I had a long shutter speed on and my friend Arthur jogged me near the end.
